According to Sky Sports, Real Madrid is planning a summer transfer window in which they aim to sign three superstars with a total value of close to €300m, in order to bridge the gap to Barcelona in La Liga.

Although Real Madrid won the Copa del Rey and is still in the Champions League fight at the semi-final stage, they want to improve their performance next season. The club has reportedly made positive progress towards signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, who is expected to cost around €120 million. However, Real Madrid is not stopping there and is looking to add more star power to their squad. The identity of the other two superstars that Real Madrid is targeting remains unclear, but it is clear that they are aiming for a major overhaul of their squad ahead of the new season.

Real Madrid target Mbappe and Davies transfers

Real Madrid is reportedly revisiting a move for Kylian Mbappe, after being snubbed by the French forward last summer when he was a free agent. However, Mbappe’s transfer would not come cheap, with his value estimated at €139m by FootballTransfers.

PSG is unlikely to sell, as they prefer to keep him after Lionel Messi’s potential departure and would rather Neymar leave. Similarly, Real Madrid is reportedly interested in signing Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich to bolster their left-back position. However, the 22-year-old Canadian international is considered unsellable by his club and is valued at around €65m. A dream transfer window for Real Madrid would include signing Jude Bellingham, Mbappe, and Davies, but it would require a significant spend of at least €300m. It remains to be seen how Real Madrid can make this possible.
